In 2015, our 100 paddlers raised over $375,000 to support the mental health of families coping with a cancer diagnosis via The Flatwater Foundation!
It’s almost time to kick off our 2016 campaign! This year, over 140 paddle boarders will complete a 21-mile, dam-to-dam fundraising paddle together for the cause. This year will be the biggest yet! A very special thanks to Tyler’s and all of our sponsors for allowing us to keep this fundraising tradition alive, so together we can achieve our mission of making life better for families in need.
All proceeds from this event benefit The Flatwater Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides access to mental health services for people in need who are affected by a cancer diagnosis. The foundation and the families we help greatly appreciate your support!
Dam That Cancer. #besomebody.
Once a year, 100 passionate people paddle 21 miles from dam to dam on Lake Austin for Tyler's Dam That Cancer Event. They paddle for hours to raise money and awareness for those coping with cancer through The Flatwater Foundation. If you've lost a loved one to cancer, please support this amazing organization. #besomebody.Posted by #besomebody. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015
